Read your rising sign if you know it; or any other sign, as
each of us has Aries, Taurus etc. someplace in our charts governing some aspect
of our lives..
ARIES (Mar 21-
Apr 20) – As Jupiter changed signs last week into Leo and into your 5th house
of children, recreational pleasures, sports, creative activities, the theater,
love affairs, speculation and gambling, the next year should be full with much
expansion, growth and good fortune in those areas. This depends, of course,
upon how much pleasure you can take in, as seen by the condition of your natal Jupiter.
Some of us are born with good luck, confidence and a natural faith in
ourselves, others of us have to “fake it” until we “make it”.
TAURUS (Apr 20-May 21) – Your ruler Venus is in
Cancer this week, as we wind down the month to meet the New Moon in Leo at 6:42
PM on Saturday, which brings to focus home and family affairs. You are at the
bottom of the yearly cycle, when strengthening the foundation of your life,
whether that means, buying a house, repairing your existing home, spending time
with your family, or staying home in the hammock reading, the focus is inward,
towards recharging your batteries. Expect some left over fireworks over the
weekend as Venus runs into Pluto the planet of power shifts, passion and
attempted manipulations.
GEMINI (May
21-Jun 21) – Mercury is busy as the week begins-supporting your need to think
“outside the box”. Do not be surprised if a monkey wrench is thrown into the
works on Thursday, as someone changes his/her mind or news comes that upsets things.
Affairs should stabilize quickly though. Mercury meets both the planet of
destabilization then stabilization in quick succession. The New Moon Saturday
evening is a boon to sibling and neighborly relations or to your
writing/educational projects.
CANCER (Jun
21-Jul 20) – Mercury, the planet of thoughts and communicating those thoughts
and Venus, the planet of love and values are both in your sign this week.
Hopefully your words can express your feelings with sensitivity-for most of us
often hard to do. The New Moon on Saturday evening begins a month of focusing
on your 2nd house of income and livelihood. With Jupiter there too (for a year)
you can expect to begin a project this week/ month that greatly increases your
physical bank account or self worth/confidence bank account. One does not
always know what level things will work out on-ideally both.
LEO (Jul 20-Aug
21) – Once a year you have a New Moon in your sign. A New Moon, or new beginning, is that moment when
the Sun and Moon merge for an instance. We never see it, as the Sun swallows
the Moon completely; we only begin to see it as the Moon moves away from the Sun
a few days later, as seen in the crescent Moon in the evening sky. New beginnings
are often like that, not noticed at first and realized only later in hindsight.
Rest assured that you will notice this year (until August 2015) as you have the
added bonus of having the planet of expansion, faith, confidence, luck and
creativity in Leo too. The seeds are sown this week for more of your light to
shine.
VIRGO (Aug 21-Sep
21) – Watch nervous strain as the week begins and Mercury connects with the
combination of planets that has been known to cause the most upset in human
affairs. The forces of moving forward unexpectedly and the force of stability
and the status quo are vying for supremacy; disruptions followed by a solution
calling for more responsibility and discipline. Use Neptune the planet of
surrender, very strong now for those born from the 23rd-29th of August any
year, to gain a spiritual perspective. You might not understand it all.
LIBRA (Sep 21-
Oct 20) - Mars leaves your sign Friday night just before the New Moon Saturday
evening, after a long 7 month sojourn, usually only 7 weeks. Mars might have
been disrupting your placid, peaceful and balanced life. Now he moves onto
Scorpio, where he is more welcome. The New Moon in Leo awakens your 11th house
of friends, groups and organizations, hopes and wishes and gains from your
career. It is one of the fortunate houses. The New Moon, new beginning in the
above affairs coupled with the transit of Jupiter, the planet of abundance,
also moving through this house now means –good fortune is on its way-especially
welcome after the long transit of the upsetting god of war, Mars.
SCORPIO (Oct
20-Nov 21) – The biggie for you this week is Mars entering your sign Friday
night the 25th, just before the New Moon on Saturday. This is a big switch as
Mars the planet of energy, anger, drive, assertion, will force and physical
exertion will be in your sign until mid September stirring you into passionate
action which might involve a joint business or monetary deal. Watch what begins
in your career house this week with the New Moon in Leo as it will lead to
something, not always visible at first, which will require persistence to see
through. Jupiter is up there too-opportunities abound.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov
21- Dec 21) – The New Moon Saturday evening shines on your 9th house of foreign
affairs; and with Jupiter up there too voyaging around the world either literal
or virtual is in the realm of possibilities.
Planets shifting signs also shift departments of life where they are
operating. Jupiter left your house of joint finances and unearned income where
it has been for a year. It now wants you to expand globally; maybe some of that
extra money you now have can be used to take that long desired course or
adventure abroad.
CAPRICORN (Dec
21-Jan 20) – Your ruler Saturn is moving forward very slowly now. There is energy
around for you to remember what it is that you were born to be known for. The
monthly New Moon is in your 8th house of joint monetary affairs, concerns with
taxes, wills, insurance, and affairs of the dead; also the psychological
transformations we go through when we are in deep relationship with ourselves,
through psychotherapy or with others as we get involved more deeply through
combining finances or sexual intimacy. The New Moon has the planet of expansion
and growth, Jupiter, with it, so augurs well for benefits coming to you from
the above list. As Jupiter will be in
this area for a year you have added time for the benefits to accumulate,
accompanied by some crisis, pain or loss.
AQUARIUS (Jan
20-Feb 20) – Your two ruling planets are still in that very awkward relationship
as this week begins. Something inside wants to shift but another part of you
does not. Adjustments have to be made between the freedom that you know comes
from letting go and the fear that comes up when we think about doing that. The
New Moon is in the house of partners and open enemies. Expect to widen your
horizon this week by opening yourself up to enlarge your circle of
friends.
PISCES (Feb
20-Mar 21) – Your planetary ruler Jupiter has the most powerful magnetic field
in our solar system. It also radiates more heat than it receives from the Sun.
Jupiter symbolizes faith in ourselves, faith in the process of life, the
confidence that knows that what we do can make a difference and faith in the
inherent abundance in the universe, there is enough for all. Use these qualities that your planet
represents this week to see the big picture. Einstein was a Pisces.
